Dot Torture
Why It Works
Dot Torture is the ultimate test of trigger control. It covers draws, transitions, strong-hand only, weak-hand only, and reloads, all while demanding perfect accuracy.
Setup and Run
1. Dot 1: Fire 5 rounds slow fire.
2. Dot 2: Draw and fire 1 round (repeat 5x).
3. Dots 3 & 4: Draw, 1 shot on 3, 1 shot on 4 (repeat 4x).
4. Dot 5: Draw, 5 shots Strong Hand Only.
5. Dots 6 & 7: Draw, 2 shots on 6, 2 shots on 7 (repeat 4x).
6. Dot 8: From ready, 5 shots Weak Hand Only.
7. Dots 9 & 10: Draw, 1 shot on 9, reload, 1 shot on 10 (repeat 3x).
Full Details
Total of 50 rounds. There is no time limit—the only goal is to not miss the 2-inch circles. If you miss one shot, you fail the drill.
